About Bharatiya Academy School
The Bharatiya Academy was started as a nursery school with 40 children under the aegis of Soni Foundation Trust in the year 2000. Since then it has now blossomed into 10+2 CBSE affiliated school with 550 students. Bhartiya Academy is imparting quality education in three streams viz. science, humanities and commerce to children with rural background, wards of deprived, economically weaker and needy segments of the society at minimum cost or free as per the stated mission of the Trust.
Bharatiya Academy is a CBSE affiliated school, fulfills all compliances and norms. It has a Computer, Physics, Chemistry and Biology Lab and four smart class rooms and a well furnished auditorium for conducting various programs. School is divided mainly in three Wings Nursery, Primary and Senior Wing.
As of date the Academy has 25 sponsored students (economically weaker) sponsored by Pragathi (USA) and other individuals.
The school has witnessed many achievements during the ongoing academic year 2023-24. To mention a few, smart TV’s and Tabs mapped with the curriculum provided in all classrooms for better understanding, inducted qualified and experienced teachers with improved salary scale, for the first time a CBSE Capacity Building Program (History) was hosted by our School. Resource persons were from Dehradun and 35 Teachers from prestigious institutions in Roorkee and Haridwar participated.
Since the school is run by a trust of retired Army Officers , students are specially trained for various sports activities and have brought laurels in various sports like volleyball, Kabaddi, Football under Uttarakhand district, state and national games federations.
